Job summary

Laverty Pathology is seeking a Pathology Collector on a permanent part-time basis at Ettalong, NSW. The role focuses on collecting blood and other samples with care, delivering a calm, professional patient experience and ensuring accurate sample handling to support timely diagnosis.

Hours are 20 per week, Monday to Friday 9am–1pm, with additional shifts and Saturdays available. Training is provided through Healius Academy to build essential skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Desirable pathology collection experience.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection desirable.
• Healthcare background or strong customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care and accuracy.
• Provide a welcoming, calm patient experience.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport.
• Maintain accurate records and follow procedures.
• Support smooth daily operations at the site.
