Job summary

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney is seeking a Staff Specialist in Palliative Care Medicine on a 0.5 FTE basis for a temporary period from January 2027 to June 2027. The role involves providing comprehensive palliative care to inpatients and outpatients within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold specialist registration with AHPRA, have RACP AChPM fellowship or equivalent, and contribute to teaching, research, and service innovation within an academic teaching

Qualifications

• Possess, or be eligible to possess, specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians – Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (RACP AChPM) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge and high standards of clinical practice in Palliative Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to palliative care patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
