Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking an Operations Assistant for a part-time position at our Marong site. The role provides essential administrative support to the Country Operations Manager, Operations Managers and the broader Victoria Country Operations team.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain systems, support safety policies, and deliver timely customer service. The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate has a vocational or tertiary qualification in any discipline and experience in an administrative support role within logistics/supply chain, agriculture or similar.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to produce professional documents (MS Office).
• Intermediate MS Excel; familiarity with finance/procurement/people systems is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor systems supporting operations (purchasing, learning, finance).
• Provide support for safety management systems, policies and procedures.
• Deliver professional customer service to internal, external and corporate customers.
• Distribute regional operations information to stakeholders.
• Undertake administrative project work as required.
• Act as a Kronos super user; provide high-level support to operations leaders.
• Coordinate regional training for employees.
