Job summary

The University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) invites applications for a Technician (Nutrition and Dietetics) based at the Moreton Bay campus in Petrie. This 18.13-hour-per-week part-time role offers a level 5 salary of AU$82,843–AU$93,358 per annum, plus up to 17% employer superannuation, with ongoing appointment.

You will prepare, facilitate and maintain high-quality practical and simulation-based learning experiences, supporting teaching across Nutrition and Dietetics and other Allied Health

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Nutrition or related Allied Health field.
• Experience in commercial or teaching kitchen, food prep, or practical technical support in health/education.
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety, including risk assessments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and IT proficiency.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to work across campuses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, setup and pack-down of practical classes and assessments with facilities and tech readiness.
• Manage teaching facilities, equipment, resources, including maintenance, inventory and safety compliance.
• Provide technical expertise and support to academic staff across Nutrition and Dietetics and allied programs, maintaining records.
