Job summary

QML Pathology, a Healius business, invites applications for a multiskilled Scientist on a part-time, max-term basis to join the laboratory team at The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane.

Applicants shall possess an AIMS-accredited degree with Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or Transfusion Science and will perform diagnostic testing, routine procedures, QA activities and stock control in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• AIMS-accredited degree in Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or Transfusion Science.
• Multiskilled pathology training or experience across disciplines preferred.
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing within the laboratory team.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities and documentation.
• Manage stock and inventory control for reagents and supplies.
