Job summary

The Lecturer in Medicine at UNSW is an Education Focused role delivering high-quality teaching, clinical education and student support within UNSW’s undergraduate Medicine program.

Primarily based at Sutherland Hospital, the role contributes to the coordination and practical delivery of internal medicine training in accordance with the guidelines of the Medicine Program and Discipline of Medicine at the St George and Sutherland Clinical Campuses.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.
• Fellowship of a relevant Australasian Specialist Medical College.
• PhD in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Maintain a clinical appointment with SESLHD for teaching.
• Stay up to date with discipline knowledge and development.
• Experience designing teaching with educational technologies and online delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and student support in Medicine.
• Coordinate and deliver internal medicine training at the clinical campus.
• Develop learning activities and assessments aligned with program guidelines.
• Support academic progression and student learning experiences.
