Job summary

State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) is seeking a Lifeguard Supervisor for the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. This part-time role (15 hours/week) leads lifeguard teams, oversees aquatic safety, and ensures excellent customer service across busy facilities.

The successful candidate will supervise shifts, coordinate operations, and promote water safety while maintaining high presentation and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard leadership and team supervision experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and manage incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support lifeguards during operational shifts.
• Ensure safety and supervision within aquatic facilities.
• Coordinate pool deck operations and bookings.
• Conduct inspections and address safety hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain incident documentation.
• Support induction and development of new lifeguard staff.
