Rooshock Accounting, a fast-growing, modern accounting firm in Australia, is seeking a Junior/Undergraduate Accountant for a part-time role. The position offers 20-30 hours per week across 3-5 days, with a roster aligned to university timetables and a clear path to a full-time Graduate Accountant role on completion of the degree.

You will learn our systems, bookkeeping, and tax compliance basics, with direct access to the Director and support from the team as you grow.

Competenze

• Be in your 3rd or 4th year of an accounting degree (or a recent graduate seeking part-time work)
• Be keen to build a long-term career in public practice
• Be detail oriented and take pride in your work
• Be organised and able to follow structured processes
• Be willing to ask questions and learn quickly
• Be comfortable communicating with team members and, over time, clients
• Have permanent working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident). Unfortunately, we are unable to consider temporary visa holders or provide visa sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Bookkeeping and data processing in Xero
• Assist with BAS preparation and ongoing compliance work
• Assist in the preparation of: Company, trust, partnership, and individual tax returns
• Support senior team members on client jobs
• Help maintain accurate and well-structured working papers
• Respond to basic client queries
• Learn and follow internal systems and processes
