Job summary

Bradfield Partners in Sydney is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting and tax team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants to learn, develop strong technical skills, and contribute in a supportive, collaborative workplace.

You will assist with preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS, liaise with authorities, and help ensure client work is completed on time while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Recently completed or currently studying an accounting qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Eager to learn and grow within the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS for individual, partnership, company, trust and SMSF clients.
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC.
• Work with the Partner and team to ensure client work is completed within an appropriate timeframe.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as required
