Job summary

Bialik College in Melbourne is seeking a casual yet dedicated administrator to develop and implement informal Jewish education activities for students from early learning to year 12.

The role is part-time (approximately 22.8 hours per week) during term time, commencing in Term 1, 2027. Duties include organizing education days, coordinating programs, and supporting student leadership and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Jewish youth movement, Jewish communal organisation, or educational institution.
• Willingness to work evenings, camps and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Organise and lead informal education days for chaggim and commemorative days, camps, and seminars.
• Develop and coordinate informal Jewish education activities and programs (e.g., Shabbatonim, hikes, workshops, events).
• Support student leadership development and exploration of Jewish identity through programs.
• Collaborate with team to model leadership and assist with camps and life-skills seminars.
• Coordinate lunch-time and after-school activities and champion the Jewish Life department.
