Job summary

Ozcare is seeking compassionate In Home Support Workers to join the North Lakes Aged Care at Home team. You will provide practical assistance and social support in clients’ homes, following individual care plans to promote independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include domestic duties, shopping assistance, and documenting client information. You will work with a supportive team, undergo training, and contribute to positive client outcomes while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and respectful approach to supporting older people.
• Experience in home support, community care or aged care preferred.
• Ability to manage time independently and deliver quality service.

Responsibilities

• Provide home support services that promote independence and wellbeing.
• Undertake domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Assist with shopping, transport and community access.
• Provide social support and companionship to clients.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Participate in training and safety/compliance initiatives.
