Job summary

Beechworth Health Service is seeking a part-time Food & Domestic Assistant (Pantry) to support daily operations in patient and staff areas. You will stock kitchens, wash dishes, and assist with delivering meals and cleaning duties, ensuring hygiene and correct meal distribution.

The role requires flexibility for weekends and variable shifts and contributes to a positive team culture. Applicants should show reliability, good personal hygiene, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision.
• Interpersonal skills with residents, patients, staff and community members.
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties in a health service environment.
• Good personal hygiene and understanding of infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Stock unit kitchens with snacks, milk, and condiments for patients and staff.
• Wash dishes, sanitize food trolleys, maintain a hygienic pantry environment.
• Receive and distribute deliveries of stores items.
• Distribute trays to patient rooms, pour beverages, and collect dirty trays after meals.
