Job summary

Beechworth Health Service is seeking 2 Part-Time Food Services Assistants (Kitchen hand/Salads) to support our essential services team. You will provide kitchen support and assist with patient meals.

The role includes dishwashing, cleaning and sanitising equipment, and ensuring high standards of infection control while supporting meal service. Flexibility to work weekends/public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to high-quality hospitality, cleaning and support services in healthcare.
• Understanding of infection prevention, hygiene and safe work practices in healthcare.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide kitchen support including dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
• Sanitise crockery, cutlery and meal delivery equipment.
• Assist with basic food production and patient meals.
