Job summary

The CareSide is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our growing team in VIC. You will assist clients with daily activities to help them live safely and independently at home. This part-time role is 12 hours per week with flexible weekday timing, travel reimbursement, and PPE provided.

Ideal candidates are reliable, caring, and committed to high-quality home care. Required items include First Aid/CPR, Police clearance, driver’s licence, smartphone, and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• National Police Clearance Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone.
• Organised, punctual, friendly, and genuinely caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.
