Job summary

The CareSide in VIC is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help clients live safely and independently at home. This part-time position requires 2 hours per week with flexible weekday timing, travel reimbursement, and company-provided PPE.

Responsibilities include personal care, domestic tasks, social support, transportation to appointments, and keeping accurate care records. Must have First Aid/CPR, Police clearance, and a valid Australian driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• National Police Clearance Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.
