Job summary

SA Health’s Limestone Coast Local Health Network seeks a Gardener/Handyperson for Millicent & District Hospital & Health Service to maintain grounds and assist with facilities upkeep.

You will perform gardening, irrigation maintenance, painting and minor repairs, ensuring the environment remains safe and welcoming for patients and staff. The role reports to the Facility Services Supervisor with flexible hours and the option to split the 0.9 FTE between two staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to drive.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundskeeping and general maintenance duties.
• Maintain irrigation systems and carry out minor repairs and painting.
• Upkeep of equipment and safe, welcoming facilities for patients, visitors and staff.
