Job summary

Ingenia Lifestyle Springside in Victoria is seeking a Part Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer to keep the park clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests. You’ll perform mowing, pruning, planting and basic repairs while delivering high standards of service.

Reporting to the Community Manager, you’ll coordinate contractor work, manage budgets within guidelines, conduct WHS checks, and contribute to a positive, team-first culture at Australia’s first Green Star-rated sustainable community.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
• Proactive, positive with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Mow, prune, plant, and pest-control to keep outdoor spaces welcoming.
• Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site (accommodation, pool areas, equipment).
• Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets within guidelines.
• Conduct WHS checks and document maintenance activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with team and respond to resident queries to maintain a positive workplace culture.
