Qualifications

• Certificate of high school education and/or relevant work experience in a service industry.
• Proficiency in the proper application of manual handling techniques and lifting equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to access, interpret and apply company standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain glassware items used in the laboratory or other microbiological containment environment.
• Operate industrial glassware washers, sterilisers and heat sterilisation ovens to ensure glassware is free of contamination.
• Maintain equipment by following operating instructions; troubleshoot breakdowns and arrange repairs.
• Assist to maintain food standards required for the operation of the onsite micro market.
• Assist in stocking, ordering and maintenance of the onsite micro-market.
