Job summary

Marenwood Child & Adolescent Psychology in Croydon, VIC is seeking a General Psychologist to join our collaborative private practice. This part-time role focuses on children, adolescents and families, with a flexible mix of in-clinic appointments and telehealth.

You’ll provide assessment and therapy, benefit from streamlined administration and close supervision, and have opportunities to grow into senior or leadership responsibilities depending on your interests and experience.

Qualifications

• Current general registration with AHPRA.
• Clinical experience, or well-developed foundational skills, in working with children, adolescents and/or families.
• An ability to deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention within your scope of competence.
• Strong communication, organisation and professional documentation skills.
• A collaborative approach to clinical practice and an openness to supervision, feedback and continued learning.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Medicare provider number under the Better Access initiative.

Responsibilities

• Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions for children and adolescents.
• Conducting psychological assessments and providing feedback and recommendations.
• Working collaboratively with parents, schools and other members of a child’s support network where appropriate.
• Maintaining high-quality clinical records, reports and professional documentation.
• Participating in clinical supervision, peer consultation and ongoing professional development.
• Managing your clinical workload in line with client needs and agreed practice expectations.
