Qualifications

• Has a gardening/horticultural qualification with relevant practical experience.
• Experienced and confident using gardening and mowing equipment.
• Good knowledge of general plant, lawn and garden care.

Responsibilities

• General garden maintenance and presentation.
• Lawn mowing using push and ride-on mowers.
• Lawn edging and general lawn care.
• Hedge trimming and maintenance up to ~2.1 metres.
• Weeding and proactive weed prevention/control.
• Pruning of shrubs, plants and small trees.
• Fertilising and general plant care.
• Maintaining garden beds and planted areas.
• Seasonal garden maintenance.
• Identifying plant, lawn or garden issues requiring attention.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gardener to provide ongoing care and maintenance of a well-established 2.5-acre private property in the Macedon Ranges.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity for approximately two days per week and would suit a qualified gardener or someone with strong practical gardening and grounds maintenance experience who takes pride in maintaining a garden to a high standard.

The property includes a mix of established garden beds, hedging, trees and extensive lawn areas.

Key Responsibilities

• General garden maintenance and presentation
• Lawn mowing using both push and ride-on mowers
• Lawn edging and general lawn care
• Hedge trimming and maintenance, generally up to approximately 2.1 metres
