Jim's Mowing in Melbourne is seeking a casual Gardener / Lawn Maintenance Team Member for Malvern East and surrounds. The role focuses on lawn mowing, edging and general garden care for established clients, with potential for regular ongoing hours or progression to full-time.

Casual Gardener / Lawn Maintenance Team Member

Malvern East & surrounding suburbs

We are an established lawn mowing and garden maintenance business based in Malvern East and have been servicing our clients for more than 15 years.

We have a small, experienced and stable team and are now looking for a casual team member to join us.

Previous experience in lawn mowing and general garden maintenance is preferred, however we are also willing to consider someone with limited experience if they have the right attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

For us, reliability, pride in your work, honesty and fitting well within the team are just as important as experience.

For the right person, there is the opportunity for regular ongoing hours and potentially a full-time position in the future. Our intention is to initially employ someone casually, allow both parties to make sure the position is a good fit, and then consider a permanent position based on performance, reliability and business requirements.

The role

Your work will include:

• Lawn mowing and edging
• General garden maintenance
• Hedge trimming and pruning
• Weeding
• Garden clean-ups
• Gutter cleaning
• High-pressure cleaning
• General property maintenance

Most of our work is regular ongoing maintenance for established clients rather than landscaping or construction work.

What we are looking for

Ideally, you will have previous experience in lawn mowing and garden maintenance. However, we are happy to train the right person if you have some practical experience, enjoy outdoor work and genuinely want to learn.
