Job summary

• Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in general medical or surgical nursing, preferably in a GP clinic.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and Best Practice software.
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009).
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencement).

Nundah Doctors Surgery Wavell Heights is seeking a dedicated, experienced Registered Nurse to join their team on a part‑time or full‑time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with general medical and surgical experience to contribute to the effective and compassionate care of patients at our well‑established GP clinic in Wavell Heights, Queensland.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and monitoring vital signs


• Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and patient education


• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records


• Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of service


• Adhering to all relevant medical and nursing standards, policies, and procedures


• Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of nursing practices and patient outcomes

What we’re looking for

• Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)


• Minimum of 2 years experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role, preferably in a GP clinic or primary care setting


• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient‑centered care


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team


• Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology, such as using Best Practice software


• A caring, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care


• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)


• Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency)


• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
