Job summary

Renato's Florist in Victoria is seeking a part-time Florist to craft custom floral arrangements, care for flowers and plants, assist customers, process sales, and help with deliveries and event setup.

Responsibilities include unpacking shipments, trimming stems, conditioning flowers, greeting customers, handling orders, and stock management. A Certificate III in Floristry (or working towards) and a current driver's license are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in floristry and floral design.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to follow directions and work with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create custom bouquets, centrepieces, wreaths for daily sales, weddings, and events.
• Unpack shipments, trim stems, condition flowers for freshness.
• Greet customers, take phone/online orders, advise on flowers and pricing.
• Process POS transactions, manage stock, place vendor orders as needed.
• Keep shop and display areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Pack and deliver arrangements and assist with on-site event setup.
• Fulfil additional duties as required by management.
