Job summary

Relationships Australia Victoria seeks a part-time counsellor at the Boronia centre. The role involves delivering counselling to children, families and individuals, with a focus on parenting, relationships and mental wellbeing. You will work closely with a team of clinicians under the Senior Manager.

The position is 0.6 EFT, three days per week, offering an attractive base salary and salary packaging options, supported by professional supervision and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work, counselling or psychology.
• Postgraduate qualifications in family therapy are highly desirable.
• Experience in relationship counselling and family violence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, culturally sensitive counselling and therapeutic support to children, families, couples and individuals.
• Address parenting concerns, relationship challenges, stress and anxiety, separation, and blended family issues.
