Job summary

St Luke's LDC at Capalaba, operated by Catholic Early EdCare, seeks a passionate educator for a fixed-term, part-time role covering parental leave. The position involves 7.5 hours per day, four days a week, for about 12 months, with potential future opportunities within CEEC.

You'll join a welcoming 78-place centre and collaborate with a supportive leadership team to deliver play-based learning and nurture young learners in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Completed or currently studying Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised).
• Current Childcare First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is required.
• Solid knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standard.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Completion of Child Safety Courses 1 & 2 is mandatory; Courses 3 & 4 highly regarded.
