Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane in Capalaba is seeking a passionate educator to join St Luke's LDC for a fixed-term parental leave cover. The role is part-time, 7.5 hours per day across four days per week, with the possibility of extension within Catholic Early EdCare.

You will create safe, nurturing learning spaces, collaborate with a supportive team, and help inspire a love of learning in young children while upholding the Catholic Early EdCare philosophy and strong community connections.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards Cert III or Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA.
• Current Childcare First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Completed child safety training certificate.
• A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standard.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Completion of Child Safety Courses 1 & 2 (mandatory); Courses 3 & 4 highly regarded.

We're looking for a passionate educator to join our team at St Luke's LDC in Capalaba.We're seeking someone who is driven to inspire young minds and create a safe, nurturing space for our youngest learners.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position covering parental leave approximately for a 12 month period. The role involves working 7.5 hours per day across 4 days per week for the duration of the contract. Further opportunities may be available within Catholic Early EdCare at the end of the contract for the right candidate.
