Job summary

Barwon Health’s Barwon Early Parenting Centre in Geelong is seeking an Early Parenting Practitioner to support families and build healthy parent-child relationships. You will work under supervision of the ANUM/AMUM or Maternal and Child Health Nurse, delivering frontline care and guiding parents in feeding, sleep, play and safety.

• Diploma level in Nursing
• Diploma level in Children’s Services
• Diploma level in Early Childhood Development Youth Work
• Degree in Psychology

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day provision of care to the consumer and their families that aligns with the care plan.
• Able to independently organise own workload and set priorities within the work plan.
• Liaison with community teams and external organisations in relation to consumer care.
• Under delegation and supervision of the ANUM/AMUM or Maternal and Child Health Nurse.
