Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking three permanent part-time Support Workers to assist clients in Supported Independent Living settings in NSW. Successful applicants must be available for all rostered shifts across Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3, including mornings, afternoons and evenings.

A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver’s licence are required. Responsibilities include helping clients with personal care, mobility, medication administration and documentation, while supporting

Qualifications

• Clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 or HLTAID011.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to engage in hobbies (live music, arts and crafts, op shopping).
• Assist with daily personal care including bathing, shaving and toileting.
• Medication assistance and administration.
• Mobility assistance including lifting and transferring.
• Foster community connection and engagement.
• Promote choice, independence and participation for clients.
