Job summary

Bupa Australia is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the delivery of safe, high‑quality dental care and positive patient outcomes in our Sydney clinics. You will assist with clinical procedures, maintain infection control standards, and ensure rooms and equipment are prepared and sterile for patient care.

Casual employment with set working hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Experience in dental assisting is preferred; Certificate III/IV is valued but not essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong chair-side assistance skills including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays.
• Ability to clean, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment per infection control standards, BDC procedures, and WHS requirements.
• Organisational and administrative skills to support appointment scheduling, with a reliable, accountable approach to work and service quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes; assist with clinical procedures and maintain infection control standards.
• Ensure equipment is sterilised and treatment rooms are clean, organised, and ready for patient care.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and related administrative tasks.
