Job summary

HammondCare Scone is seeking an experienced Part-time Registered Nurse to join our residential team. You will provide tailored and individualised responsive care for residents, advise and support care staff, and contribute to clinical decision making under AHPRA guidelines.

To succeed, you should hold current AHPRA registration, have 2–3 years in aged care, and be comfortable with nights and weekend shifts. Strong dementia knowledge, teamwork, and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration with ideally 2-3 years experience in an Aged Care setting.
• Flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights and weekends.
• Value teamwork but able to work independently and show initiative.
• Knowledge and experience of people living with Dementia and their needs.
• Genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference.
• Strong admin and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff.
• Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes.
• Consultative in case management and clinical decision making.
• Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse.
• Implement and support a resident comfort focus.
