Job summary

Melbourne Packaging Supplies is seeking a part-time/casual driver to service the Melbourne metro area. The role runs Wednesday to Friday, starting at 8am and finishing when complete (roughly 1pm–4pm depending on workload).

You will load a van with cartons, large rolls and pallets, deliver to local suburbs, and pick up goods from suppliers. Physical fitness to lift heavy items is required; forklift use is at the customer's site.

Job description

We are looking for a part time/casual driver for a medium business, For Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 8am to when complete (~1pm-4pm) finish. Will be driving LDV Van.

3 days guaranteed per week, other days maybe optional during increased workload.

Main Duties

• Loading van with our goods, Cartons, large rolls, pallets.

• Delivering to goods Melbourne metro and surrounding suburbs

• Picking up goods from suppliers

• Unloading goods by hand. (Customer will unload by forklift on their site)

Other duties

• Pick / packaging of orders to deliver

Applicants should be capable of lifting large, bulky, and heavy goods.

Requirements

• Willingness to pick pack orders which would lead to extended hours.
