Australia Post Group is seeking a Van Driver in Melbourne for a fixed-term, part-time role. You will safely drive a company van, collect mail and parcels from various sites, unload/sort items, and perform daily safety checks. The position runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am–11:00am, for 6 months with potential extension.

Hourly rate is $32.75 plus 15% penalties, totaling $37.66 per hour, with superannuation and leave benefits. Training and career development are supported.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence.
• Safety‑focused and able to pass driving assessment.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work additional hours when required.
• Detail‑oriented and committed to accuracy.
• Capable of handling mail/parcels up to 16kg and meeting 130kg safe load.
• Willing to learn and progress in transport and operations.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a company van to collect mail and parcels from multiple locations.
• Unload and accurately sort mail and parcels; perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain punctual, professional conduct and accuracy on deliveries.
