Job summary

Chandler Macleod in Werribee is seeking a Customer Service Officer for a part-time position (30-35 hours per week) until 19 February 2027. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering friendly, efficient service across front counter and phone channels.

Key duties include handling enquiries, processing payments, maintaining records, and assisting with cashiering and banking while using internal systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, contact centre or front counter roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling high-volume inquiries.
• Cash handling and EFTPOS reconciliation skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn systems quickly.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service via phone and face-to-face interactions
• Respond to customer enquiries or direct requests to the appropriate department
• Resolve customer concerns where possible and provide suitable solutions
• Process customer payments, receipts and related transactions accurately
• Assist with cashiering duties, daily balancing and banking processes
• Record and manage customer requests using internal systems
• Maintain accurate customer records and enquiry data
• Prepare routine correspondence and administrative documentation
• Support the maintenance of customer service resources and information displays
