Job summary

Ovolo Group in Australia is seeking a Commis Chef for a part-time role across our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, maintaining mise en place and ensuring a high standard of guest experience.

You will work under the Head Chef, contribute to menu ideas, and help keep stock, hygiene and safety guidelines at the forefront of daily service. Previous 1–2 years in a Commis Chef role is ideal, with a proactive and team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Commis Chef experience.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Understanding of mise en place and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Take control of breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Set up and clean kitchen after service.
