Job summary

Ipswich City Council is seeking a Part-Time Cleaner to maintain multiple sites to high cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards. The role is 25 hours per week with a pro rata salary starting at $69,615 plus 12.5% superannuation, based in Ipswich, Queensland.

You will join a team focused on safe cleaning practices, supporting shift work, and delivering a welcoming environment across public and workspaces. A current Queensland C class licence and prior commercial cleaning experience are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to undertake shift work at the hours and locations required of the position.
• Current Queensland C class driver’s licence.
• Experience in commercial cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the cleaning of work and public spaces.
• Provide a comprehensive understanding of safe cleaning practices.
• Work under general supervision and apply acquired skills to meet objectives.
• Maintain allocated buildings and their facilities in a clean, hygienic, and presentable condition.
• Periodically clean internal glass surfaces, handrails and working surfaces.
