Job summary

St Mary's Primary School, Bowraville, is seeking passionate staff to support classroom learning and learning support programs. Qualifications

• knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
• experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
• awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
• ability to successfully implement programs and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support
• preparedness to undergo further training in aiding children with special needs
• experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support to students with special needs in a classroom setting.
• Document progress for individual and small group support plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to implement and adjust supports.
