Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Child Care Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for children aged 0–5, while maintaining a safe, hygienic kitchen. You will plan menus with the Centre Director, cater for dietary needs, and order supplies to keep the service running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hygienic kitchen and meet food safety standards.
• Plan menus with the Centre Director and cater for dietary requirements.
• Order kitchen, food and cleaning supplies to keep the service running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings and training activities.
• Contribute to the day-to-day operation of the centre.
