Job summary

KU Children’s Services is seeking a Certificate III qualified educator to join the Kooinda Workbase Child Care Centre on a part-time basis, Thursdays and Fridays, 8 hours per day on a rotating roster. You will accrue a monthly rostered day off.

This role suits someone who values building strong relationships with children and families and works well in a collaborative team that supports professional learning and accreditation.

Qualifications

• Australian working rights required.
• NSW Working with Children Check must be valid.
• ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification.
• National Child Safety Training Certificate is required.
• Complete CHCPRT025 training in Child Protection.
• Knowledge of EYLF frameworks is expected.
• Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law/Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work part time on Thursdays and Fridays, 8 hours per day on a roster.
• Accrue a monthly rostered day off as part of the role.
• Engage both indoor and outdoor curriculum and activities.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families.
• Contribute as a positive, collaborative team member.
