Job summary

KU Children's Services in North Katoomba invites applications from Certificate III qualified educators to join KU Bilya Gulyangarri Preschool. The permanent part-time role is 5 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, covering breaks and contributing to a creative, nurturing program for 3- to 5-year-olds.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• ACECQA recognised completed Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a similar approved qualification
• Completed Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
• Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)

Responsibilities

• Work 5 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, covering breaks
• Support the service by contributing to a nurturing preschool program for children aged 3 to 5
• Engage with families to build strong partnerships and a sense of belonging
