Goodstart Caloundra is seeking a Centre Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children, ensuring dietary needs and safety guidelines are met. You will work closely with the Centre Director and Educators to create positive mealtime experiences.

Balanced with flexible, part-time hours, you’ll contribute to a supportive centre culture and promote wellbeing and healthy eating for children and families.

• Proven ability to plan nutritious meals for children.
• Adhere to dietary requirements and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children daily.
• Cater for allergies, cultural needs, and dietary requirements.
• Plan menus and order supplies with Centre Director.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
• Create positive mealtime experiences that promote healthy eating.
• Support a welcoming centre community with educators and leadership.
