Job summary

The Department of Education in Western Australia invites applications for a permanent part-time Associate Principal at Dunsborough Primary School (0.6 FTE), commencing Term 1, 2027. The successful applicant will join the Executive Leadership Team, guiding data-driven improvement, instructional coaching, and high-impact teaching strategies within a school approaching 800 students in 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing school structures and processes
• Strong focus on data-informed decision making and professional learning
• Experience leading literacy programs, especially synthetic phonics
• Ability to contribute to teaching as needed alongside leadership duties

Responsibilities

• Lead the Executive Leadership Team with a focus on doing the right work, the right way, for the right reasons
• Oversee data use, performance development processes, and instructional coaching implementation
• Collaborate with students, families and staff to sustain a high-performing school culture
• Potentially include a teaching component in addition to the 0.6 FTE Associate Principal role
