Job summary

First Grammar Wyoming is seeking an experienced Assistant Educator to join our team of qualified Early Childhood professionals. You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma and support the learning environment for children aged 0-5 years.

This part-time role offers 24 hours per week on a 6-month contract with the possibility to extend, with generous benefits, professional development, and a collaborative workplace that values work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Proven Educator experience with children aged 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

This role is Part-Time working 24 hours per week, on a 6 month contract, with the possibility to extend.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 38 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
