Job summary

Community Kids Green Valley Early Education Centre is seeking an experienced Assistant Educator to join our team of qualified Early Childhood professionals. You will support learning and care for children aged 0-5, under ACECQA guidelines, in a welcoming environment.

This role is part-time, 22.5 hours per week, on a 1-year contract with potential extension. We offer above-award wages, generous benefits, professional development and access to Wonder.LAB, along with flexible scheduling to support

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Solid understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience in an early childhood service with 0–5 year olds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.
• Able to work within a 7am–6pm shift.

Community Kids Green Valley Early Education Centre

is offering an exceptional candidate an Assistant Educator role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.

This role is Part-Time working 22.5 hours per week, on a 1 year contract, with the possibility to extend.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 51 children with operating hours from 7am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services


• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)


• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• A current Working with Children Check


• First Aid certificate
