Thynne + Macartney in Brisbane is seeking an AML & Compliance Analyst to operationalise the firm’s AML/CTF Program and support broader compliance.

This part-time role (3 days per week) focuses on policy maintenance, risk assessments, due diligence, and regulatory reporting to help the firm meet obligations. You will train staff, perform audits, and assist with stamping and PEXA tasks as part of daily compliance operations.

Formación

• Experience in risk & compliance, conflicts and/or AML in professional or financial services.
• Knowledge of AML/CTF obligations, ideally familiar with Tranche 2.
• Strong organisational and research skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and support AML/CTF Program, including policies, procedures, risk assessments and reporting.
• Monitor compliance with AML/CTF and regulatory obligations, identifying risks and improvements.
• Manage client due diligence, onboarding, risk assessments, screening and ongoing monitoring.
• Investigate and escalate compliance issues, maintain records and reporting.
• Provide compliance advice, guidance and training to partners, lawyers and staff.
• Conduct reviews, testing and Lexon file audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain compliance registers, records and reporting systems and support audits.
• Assist with stamping and PEXA transactions per policy and QRO obligations.
• Assist with legal file management, compliance administration and continuous improvement.
• Perform other compliance and administrative duties as directed.
