Job summary

Contemporary Catering is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our team in aged care facilities across Victoria. The role is part-time with shifts from 6:30am to 8:00pm, seven days a week to suit availability.

You will help serve meals with high resident-focused service, assist with basic food preparation, and help set up and clear away after service. Experience in hospitality is valued but not mandatory; a Food Safety certificate is recommended.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience is valued but not mandatory.
• Certificate in Food Safety is recommended.
• May be required to hold Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check; vaccination per facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Set up for meal service and clean down afterwards.
