We are Scalabrini Communities. We are a not-for-profit Catholic aged care organisation; Scalabrini puts resident needs first and reinvests in our villages to be the aged care choice for migrant communities across NSW.

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our team at Bexley Village on a part-time basis. If you enjoy preparing great food, working as part of a supportive team and making a positive difference in the lives of older people, we’d love to hear from you!

Qualifications

• Experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen, aged care or healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP and WHS principles.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience.
• Availability to work Thursday and Friday morning shifts.

• Preparing and serving a variety of nutritious, high-quality meals.
• Following food safety, hygiene and safe food-handling practices.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth daily operations.
• Delivering friendly, customer-focused service.
