Job summary

The Sutherland Hospital, operated by South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, is seeking an Administration Officer Level 3 for a temporary part-time assignment in Caringbah, Sydney. The role supports the RADIUS, Hospital in the Home (HiTH) and Treatment Unit to deliver timely, reliable clerical services.

Ideal candidates will have strong administrative abilities, communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks under general instruction requiring minimal supervision.
• Experience in responding to enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment.
• Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use computer hardware, software applications and electronic systems at the basic level.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the RADIUS, HiTH and Treatment Unit to achieve objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
• Assist with processing, filing and responding to inquiries to ensure smooth operations.
