Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) in Esperance is seeking a Parks and Visitor Services Coordinator. You will coordinate park and visitor services programs, manage budgets, lead staff and liaise with communities and stakeholders to advance conservation goals.

The role involves developing plans, marketing and capital works oversight, with a focus on effective resource use and partnerships to enhance visitor experiences.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of parks and visitor services and natural resource management; planning, implementing and managing project works.
• Evidence of high-level interpersonal skills and liaison with government, industry, Aboriginal groups and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, scheduling works and HR management.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, contract management and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the parks and visitor services program within the Esperance district to deliver high quality outcomes within budget and policy guidelines.
• Drive management planning, community liaison, program budgets, business plans, marketing and capital works programs; supervise staff within the parks and visitor services program.
• Actively pursue partnerships and alternative resourcing opportunities to support program delivery.
