Job summary

Local Council Upper North Shore Sydney is seeking a Project Manager (Parks) to lead planning and delivery of a broad range of infrastructure projects. You will drive project lifecycle activities, manage design and contracts, and supervise consultants to ensure time, cost and quality targets are met.

You will build strong client relationships, coordinate stakeholders, and work within a team that values development and collaboration. 12-month contract with potential to move permanent.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in project management, construction or engineering.
• Experience in local government is highly desirable.
• Experience with tendering and contracts administration.
• Project exposure across Parks, Open Space and Public Domain is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project management plans aligning with Councils framework.
• Engage and manage consultants with design and contract management.
• Manage a wide-ranging portfolio of projects for lifecycle, initiation, development, construction and contracts supervision and administration.
• Manage and communicate with a variety of stakeholders and working groups.
