Job summary

Ourmob.com.au Chemistry Pty in Perth is seeking a hands-on Parks Labourer to care for city parks and gardens. You’ll work with a small crew to mow, edge, plant beds and operate gardening equipment across multiple parks.

Applicants should have horticultural and manual-work experience, a current C class licence, and a White/Blue Construction Induction Card. A Certificate II in Horticulture is preferred, MR licence advantageous.

• $37.41 p/h, equating to $73,920 per annum, plus superannuation
• Full-time, permanent
• Based at Osborne Park Depot, working across the City’s parks and gardens

We’re looking for a practical, reliable team member with experience in gardening, landscaping or parks maintenance to join our Parks and Environment team.

The role

Reporting to the Team Leader Parks, you’ll work alongside a small crew to care for the green spaces our community enjoys every day. Your work will include:

• Mowing, brush-cutting and edging parks and reserves;
• Preparing garden beds and planting;
• Operating horticultural machinery and keeping tools safe and ready to use; and
• Reporting maintenance issues and helping keep public spaces safe and welcoming.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have hands‑on horticultural and manual work experience, confidence using gardening equipment and a good understanding of safe work practices. You’ll also be someone who communicates clearly, works well in a team and takes pride in their work.

You’ll need a current C class driver’s licence, a Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card) and the ability to carry out physical work, including walking and standing for extended periods.

A Certificate II or higher in Horticulture and an MR licence would be an advantage.
